2008/2009 AGM
We never had any feedback regarding the Dinner & Dance problem. Shirley will ask around at Peterborough what people want, a decision will then be made as to what to do for the next AGM. If we have an AGM, buffet and skittles night or something similar that would be OK as long as there is accommodation nearby. So feedback please asap!!!!!!!

CHILDRENS CONVOY 2007
This will be on Saturday 16th June 07 and we are going to Bristol Zoo. We are parking the lorries on the Downs. Our times for parking there are 11.30am – 4pm, NO OTHER TIME. We require lorries so please contact your area representatives if you can help.

Please book your lorry in early as we say we are not mind readers. Each area Rep will tell you the times and place to meet.
All the lorries are to be parked on the Downs before you allow your child and carer out. We need to respect the animals so NO AIR HORNS PLEASE.
The price for each child and carer is £3.85 and the driver £8.20. The raffle and other fundraising has already raised enough to cover this.
After the Convoy Dave Taylor will once again help to organise a bash, more details TO FOLLOW

PETERBOROUGH
Don’t forget to have the new window sticker displayed in your lorry for the judging. Presentations will be held at the trailer on the Monday at 11am.
We will be holding a raffle over the weekend as we have lots of excellent stuff to make money with. Come and see us and get your raffle tickets we shall be in the usual place, as previous years.
Steve Lyons has kindly offered to pull the trailer to Peterborough. Stan Robinson is then returning it back to Stafford Yard. They will take it to Oswestry and then after the show Simon Powell will bring it back to Rooksbridge.
A big thank you to Jennie and Hannah for all their help getting the Trailer ready for the off this season.
SHROPSHIRE SHOW
Hopefully for those who are going should all be able to park together. We will be having trophies at the show this year. If anyone can help with the judging at this show please let me know (Shirley)
CRICKET ST THOMAS
The trailer will be at this event as it’s being organised by Blue Ridge Runners. The show will be the same format as BIBIC but all profits will be for St Margaret’s Hospice. It’s not too late to book in if you wish, just give Shirley a ring for the forms. Thank you to Ian Course, Tigger is taking the trailer there.
THRUXTON
We have now sorted out Thruxton weekend and the menu for the restaurant. The mels on Friday for those who wish to eat will be the usual burgers etc. Saturday the Drivers & co will eat as last year 5pm – 7pm

There will be two lots of live music it sounds like on will be outside and one inside as last year. We will try to get a rough head count early on Saturday morning.
IT IS WITH REGRET
we report the death of a member, Andy West from Charmouth
membership no 187, who died 29th March aged 42,
He worked for Axminster Carpets,
Tony Dick & Phil from the Company represented the Club at his funeral.
We forwarded a sympathy card and £50 donation for Devon Air Ambulance.
Our sympathy goes to his wife and family.
